Dr. Brandt Ludlow grew up in Ann Arbor, Michigan, then moved to Bloomington where he graduated from University High School. He attended Indiana University, obtaining a B.S. in Mathematics. He graduated from the Indiana University School of Medicine and completed his residency in Obstetrics/Gynecology.
Dr. Ludlow is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and currently his Gynecologic practice focuses on urogynecology, urinary incontinence, pelvic floor medicine, as well as minimally invasive surgery. He is past chief of staff of Bloomington Hospital and Bedford Regional Medical Center, as well as having served as president of the Monroe-Owen County Medical Society.
Brandt is married to Dian and they have two sons: Clay, an Emergency Medicine Resident, and Reed, in business with Enterprise Car Rental.
Betsy Birch is originally from Milwaukee Wisconsin and graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1979 with a B.S. in Nursing. Her professional career began at the University of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor. She proceeded to earn an M.S. in Nurse Midwifery from the University of Minnesota in 1984. She practiced midwifery for seven years before moving to Bloomington in 1991. Her career has spanned 25 years in both office based women’s health care and the practice of obstetrics. Betsy is particularly adept in counseling young women as she is the mother of a teenage daughter and two young adult sons. Betsy is married to Ken Dau-Schmidt and in her spare time enjoys quilting, yoga, reading, and sailing. |
